Meet the Founder and Instructor
Robyn Ware is the founder and CEO of Where's the Music. She is a certified music educator with a bachelor's degree in music education from the "Unsinkable" Albany State University. She has been an elementary music teacher in Dekalb County School District for 4 years and has been a private instructor for over 2 years, teaching band instruments and primarily piano.
She began her musical journey at the age of 10, playing percussion in the elementary band program. This opened the door for her to switch to playing the flute, alto saxophone, and tenor saxophone throughout the years and to perform these instruments in numerous ensembles such as District Honor's Bands, symphonic bands, orchestras, HBCU National Band Director's Consortium Ensembles, and jazz bands throughout her education. These experiences also gave her the opportunity to become a session musician and professionally record the flute on multiple tracks. Her musical journey began to incorporate the piano in college, when she took 2 years of piano classes and began to develop a passion for the instrument. She performed in a piano recital in college and has since been playing classical and jazz pieces.
